The absolute best gluten free fried chicken I’ve ever had! Great approachable vibe and the essence of “west coast comfort food”.
Wow - what a great spot. The food is outstanding. Tried several dishes and most of them were A. The MT. LASSEN TROUT GRAVLAX - out of this world. RICE FLOUR-BATTERED MUSHROOMS - incredible. Like... maybe best mushrooms ever? PICKLE CHICKEN - 100% get this, because this is a home run. The lamb and new york strip... meh. Quite good overall, but there are better things on the menu and I wouldn’t recommend them. The cocktails and service excellent too. Enjoy!
Relaxed atmosphere. I loved being outside in the patio because it is so much quieter than the inside. Service was good and I was happy that I could grab some gluten free fried chicken (they only make so many a day). Definitely a gluten friendly place. Fun mock-tails to try. For an appetizer I got the mushrooms, for dinner I had the fried chicken, then I finished with the buttermilk dessert. I also did this smokey strawberry mock-tail and it was good!! Definitely smokey flavored.
It is rare that a restaurant gets everything right from the minute you pull up to the valet until the final farewell at the end of meal. Birdie G’s pulls it off. The valet greeted us warmly, the restaurant decor is elegant and simple, and the food is delicious. The brisket and rock fish entrees were excellent, and the corn bread in a skillet melted in our mouths. The food was complimented by a cold Sauvignon blanc. Our server Charlotte provided outstanding and memorable service that is hard to find in other restaurants. As we left the restaurant, she warmly said goodbye. 100% recommend.
Service was top tier and food is out of this world! Some of the best plates I've ever had. Highly recommend the chicken cutlet and the veggie plate. The GM is absolutely wonderful huge shout out to him. Our experience was great can't wait to go back.
Great restaurant with the perfect ambiance and ok service. Food was fantastic and reasonably priced. Drinks are perfect too. They charge a 4% fee for workers health insurance and the valet (which just street parks the car) is an additional 16 dollars. Just a heads up, but still a 5-star experience.
Fantastic meal and service to match. All dishes were great but the standout was the steak frites and the rose petal pie. The meat was perfectly seasoned and so tender, the fries were crispy, and the pie was so flavorful and not too sweet! Can’t wait to go back.
Omg! It was so so good. Not often a US restaurant impresses me, because I think Europe got the best restaurants. But I have to say birdies G‘s was fantastic. Some appetizers i would order again, but all our main dishes where perfect and tasteful. The restaurant is very modern, with a open kitchen. Very nice staff. Absolutely recommendation for this restaurant. A great dinner is guaranteed.
